Addressing the root cause
Health is dynamic and always changing just as your body does. As humans we would not survive if we could not adapt to the environment that surrounds us. Think about what could happen on a hot day if we did not sweat to cool off? We would overheat. Just as your body adapts to the weather, it does the same thing with health.
Our nervous system regulates every single action in our body, when we breathe, when we sleep, when we’re hungry. All of this regulation is done by our body using feedback communication, the brain instructs, the body performs, and the nervous system relays back to the brain the task was completed. However, if that signal from the brain is interfered with by misalignments, known as subluxations, in our spine putting pressure on the nerve, our body cannot fully adapt to what might be needed. This might be where we start to experience symptoms like pain, headaches, sleeping issues, heartburn, etc. Symptoms of an unregulated nervous system can be wide spread and vary based on the individual.
That is where we come in. Chiropractic is more than just back pain, its about the nervous system and that pain you’re experiencing is just another one of those symptoms alerting the body there could be an issue. We identify the subluxation, remove it to restore proper communication, and your body handles the rest.
